Classroom Expectations
Students are responsible for recording their homework in agendas and making sure their homework is in their folder prior to packing up. Students are held very accountable for the choices they make through our behavior management system.
Second Grade crocodiles will be keeping track of the ways that they C.H.O.M.P. using Class Dojo. Each day students will be awarded positive points when we see a behavior that is chomping. Students can earn letters for behaviors that fit the following:
C- Cooperative. Works with others well.
H- Honest. Respectful of others, responsible for own actions.
O- On Task. Follows directions.
M- Mindful. Appropriate use of voice and levels, personal space in restrooms and hallways.
P- Prepared. Completes classwork and homework.
If a behavior is exhibited that does not follow Sycamore Creek behavior expectations, the student will be awarded a negative point.
Parents will receive log in sheet that explains how to view your child's behavior report. Kindly note that I will not be utilizing the Class Dojo messenger for parents to inquire about points through the website. I ask that you please discuss the given point directly with your child. Thank you!
Each week the students will need above a certain percentage in order to participate in Fun Friday. Please see the following:
Q1: 80%
Q2: 85%
Q3: 85%
Q4: 90%
Please encourage your child to chomp each and every day!
